The Consumer Products Safety Commission has issued a
mandatory rule for the flammability standard to be used on all
mattresses that becomes effective July 1, 2007.
The Goal of this rule is to minimize mattress ignition in a typical
bedroom and requires manufacturers to test all their mattresses
sold in the U.S.
Along with the resources of a major supplier of barrier materials
we have successfully produced vinyl faced ticking’s that have
passed the rigorous testing required for compliance with CPSC
16 CFR part 1633.
